With over 425,000 farms in the Polish market, Tipperary based manufacturer, Abbey Machinery are very pleased to have taken on O.M. Agro as their Agent in the market. This will be spearheaded by Karol Mirota. He is no stranger to Ireland having spent time here from 2005 managing a dairy farm near Trim, County Meath. From there he went back to Poland and worked for a number of years as a Sales Director for one of the territories with Claasin.
“I am very pleased to represent Abbey Machinery in Poland. The machines are built to last and have so many great features that they will be an ideal fit in the polish market for farmers looking to improve slurry and feeding efficiencies on their farm. Initially we plan to sell 2000 gallon Abbey Tankers and VF1250 diet feeders which are best fit to suit polish farmer requirements”, remarks Mr Mirota.
“This is a major step forward for Abbey Machinery into centre of eastern Europe. Farmers are at a point of scaling up and our Machines that cater for the ‘Total Cow’ are very suitable. An important first step was getting a suitable partner and we believe we have found that in O.M. Agro” concludes Michael A.O’Grady, Sales, Marketing & Business Development Manager, Abbey Machinery.
We look forward to a successful partnership going forward.
