With crowds of over 190,000 over four days, the Highhland Show 2017 was very successful. The strong winds and mixed weather did not dampen people’s spirits.
The first two days in particular were busy with the Abbey Machinery stand a hive of activity.
“Milk and meat producers were interested right across our range of technologies. Again there was evidence that farmers and contractors are keen on bigger Kit to help them get through tasks quicker. We unveiled our new Tri-Auger Diet Feeder and farmer were impressed with the capacity over a relatively small foot print”, remarks Michael O’Grady.
The mood was far more upbeat than the show last year. Farmers welcome the rise in milk price and the reasonable weather this year.
Farmers came from across the water from Ireland in big numbers to this show on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
Facebook draw winner came onto the stand to see the machines on show.
