2Abbey Machinery is Ireland's longest established manufacturer of agricultural machinery and is also one of the largest in Ireland today. The Cavanagh family started a very successful foundry business in Abbey Lane, Nenagh over 110 years ago.

At that stage they made the ‘Cavanagh’ plough which was unique and well ahead of it’s time, this concept is now part of everyday design. Abbey has given farmers across Northern Europe the opportunity to use high quality and reliable farm machinery, with the best possible results in the most cost effective manner.

Our production facility is one of the most modern in the country. This serves to ensure that our customers will have available the finest range of farm machinery for today’s and tomorrows demanding market.
