Founded in 1947, Abbey Machinery is a third-generation, family-owned agricultural machinery manufacturer based near Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, Ireland. The company manufactures diet feeders, slurry tankers, slurry applicators, muck spreaders and grassland equipment for farmers and contractors in Ireland and international markets.

Celebrating Nearly 80 Years of Irish Agricultural Manufacturing

As we prepare to celebrate 80 years of Abbey Machinery in 2027, this recognition comes at a particularly meaningful time. Our story is rooted in family, Irish manufacturing and a commitment to supporting the farming community. Across three generations, we have continued to build on those foundations, developing machinery that meets the changing needs of farmers and contractors at home and around the world.

From our manufacturing facility in Co. Tipperary, our team brings together practical agricultural knowledge and engineering expertise to produce our “Total Cow” range, spanning precision diet feeding, slurry and muck handling, and grassland management. Continued investment in manufacturing technology and product development helps us carry that tradition forward, with quality, reliability and customer needs at the centre of our work.
