Abbey Machinery to Launch Three Additions at the 2026 National Ploughing Championships

Abbey Machinery will showcase three exciting new additions at the 2026 National Ploughing Championships, alongside its full range of slurry, feeding and grassland machinery.

Abbey Machinery will showcase its full range of agricultural machinery at the 2026 National Ploughing Championships, led by three significant additions to its slurry and feeding ranges: the new 5600-gallon Tri-Axle Tank, 2500-gallon Stepped Axle Tank and VF4000 Tri-Auger Diet Feeder.

Designed and manufactured in Ireland, the display reflects Abbey Machinery’s continued focus on robust engineering, practical innovation and machinery developed around the daily requirements of farmers and agricultural contractors.

Three New Machines Take Centre Stage:

5600-Gallon Tri-Axle Tank

The new 5600-gallon Tri-Axle Tank features a wider dished end and a shorter barrel length, delivering substantial capacity in a more compact tank profile.

It will be exhibited with Abbey’s 12-metre Band Spreader, demonstrating a high-output slurry application combination for larger farms and contractors.

2500-Gallon Stepped Axle Tank:

Also making its Ploughing debut is the 2500-gallon Stepped Axle Tank. The new model expands Abbey’s Stepped Axle Tank offering to its largest capacity to date.

Abbey Machinery’s Stepped Axle range is built with a lower tank height and reduced centre of gravity for increased stability during transport and when working on hilly ground.

Large 800/65 R32 tyres help distribute weight and reduce ground pressure and soil compaction, resulting in improved traction and flotation in soft or wet field conditions. The compact, well-balanced design also offers good manoeuvrability around yards and field entrances.

VF4000 Tri-Auger Diet Feeder:

New on the stand this year is the VF4000 Tri-Auger Diet Feeder.

With a 40m³ capacity, this feeder has been developed for large-scale livestock operations requiring greater capacity and efficient batch feeding. The machine brings Abbey’s established vertical auger feeding design into an even higher-capacity category, providing a high-volume, balanced mix and feed-out.
