Abbey Machinery returns to the Royal Highland Show 2026 with one of its strongest machinery displays yet. Visit Stand E74 to see our latest diet feeders, slurry tankers, bale shears and feeding solutions designed for modern livestock farms.
The Royal Highland Show gets underway this week, and Abbey Machinery is looking forward to returning with one of its strongest machinery displays to date.
Visitors to Stand E74 will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of diet feeders, slurry handling equipment and grassland solutions, all designed to help livestock farmers improve efficiency, reduce waste and maximise performance on farm.
As Abbey Machinery approaches its 80th year in business, the family-owned Irish manufacturer continues to invest heavily in product development, offering practical solutions for modern dairy and livestock enterprises across the UK and Ireland.
Â
Â
A key focus of this year’s stand will be Abbey’s growing range of Vertical Feeder Wagons, designed to deliver consistent, accurate Total Mixed Ration (TMR) feeding while reducing labour requirements and feed wastage.
Among the machines on display will be the Abbey VF1250, VF1650 and VF2450 Diet Feeders, alongside the high-capacity VF3350 Tri-Auger Feeder. The VF3350 continues to gain popularity among larger dairy farms thanks to its excellent mixing performance and ability to process a wide range of feed ingredients efficiently.
The Royal Highland Show also provides an opportunity to highlight the latest additions to the Abbey feeder range. New models introduced this year include the VF1700, VF1900 and VF4000, a 40m³ tri-auger feeder developed to meet the growing capacity requirements of modern livestock farms.
Abbey’s newest range of Bale Shears will also be exhibited, offering farmers a practical solution for handling and processing baled forage.
Â
Â
With feed costs representing one of the largest expenses on livestock farms, delivering accurate rations consistently has never been more important.
Abbey feeder wagons are engineered to support balanced feeding programmes that help improve animal health, maximise feed efficiency and support milk and meat production. Built for demanding day-to-day use, the range features heavy-duty construction, precision auger systems, accurate weighing technology and efficient feed-out systems.
Features found across the feeder range include rolled tub designs for improved mixing performance, COMER planetary gear transmissions, Digi-Star weighing systems and robust augers designed for long service life and dependable performance.
Â
Â
Alongside its feeding equipment, Abbey Machinery will also showcase a selection of slurry handling solutions from its extensive tanker range.
Machines on display will include a 4000-gallon Tandem Slurry Tanker aimed at the contractor market, a 2750 Recessed Slurry Tanker, a 2500 Recessed Slurry Tanker fitted with a 10.7m Dribble Bar and a 1600 Standard Tanker.
Together, these machines demonstrate Abbey’s commitment to helping farmers improve nutrient management, maximise slurry utilisation and operate more sustainably.
Â
Â
Abbey Machinery has continued to strengthen its dealer network and customer base throughout Scotland in recent years, making the Royal Highland Show an important opportunity to meet existing customers while introducing new farmers and contractors to the brand.
The Abbey team will be on hand throughout the event to discuss individual farming requirements, demonstrate machine features and help visitors identify the right solutions for their operations.
If you’re attending this year’s Royal Highland Show, make sure to visit Abbey Machinery at Stand E74 and explore the latest developments across the feeding and slurry management ranges.
