It was great to see the return of the National Ploughing Championships which took place in Ratheniska, Co. Laois. Abbey Machinery were delighted to be able to showcase a range of machinery which included Slurry Pumps, 8FT Maxi Float Topper, Fertlizer Spreaders, Diet Feeders, Applicators, Tankers; including the showstopping 4000TRI pictured. The Ploughing also saw the launch of a new Umbilical Arm.
With a record-breaking daily attendance of 115,500 on the Wednesday, it was certainly a full-on but enjoyable couple of days being able to meet people face to face again.
There was lots of talk around the sustainability side of farming and understanding how best Abbey Machinery can save customers time and money.
Apart from the Machinery side of things, Abbey QParts used the Ploughing to launch the new Abbey Half Zip Jumpers which were a huge success and received great feedback from our customers.
