Ahead of Halloween Abbey Machinery hosted their second annual company pumpkin carving contest. The pumpkin carving contest raised funds for the Toomevara National School. Employees brought home pumpkins to carve with their families. On Friday morning team members brought in their most creative submissions for a morning of sweets and judging. The event raised funds for the Toomevara National School’s AstroTurf fundraising project. Abbey Machinery are proud to support the community and local school with this initiative. The pumpkin carving contest ran for its second year with great participation from all teams in the business. Abbey Machinery run regular company social events raising funds for charitable originations nominated by Abbey team members. Abbey staff were delighted to meet with students at Toomevara National School to offer the donation and visit the site of the future AstroTurf field.
